What We Bring
to the Table

01. IP Pitch Packages
DMA Studios is an independent story engine based between Yokohama and Los Angeles. We develop original intellectual properties — characters, universes, and narrative systems built for studios, publishers, and creative partners who are looking for stories that mean something.
02. World-Building & Story Bibles
Deep narrative architecture. Every DMA property arrives with a fully
realized mythology — history, lore, character systems, and story engines
that can sustain multiple seasons and formats.

03. Creative Collaboration
We work with directors, producers, animators, and writers who share the
vision. DMA is a studio built on partnership — our best work happens in
the room with the right people.
04. Original IP Development
Have a concept that needs a creative engine? We develop original
properties from seed idea to full package — bringing visual storytelling,
cultural depth, and narrative craft to every project.

WRITER · WORLDBUILDER · IP DEVELOPER · FOUNDER
Duran Rivera
Bronx-born writer, educator, and artist. The studio draws from a life lived across New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Japan. Our IPs are rooted in identity, culture, social justice, and the complexity of the human experience. They're built to travel. We don't just create content. We build worlds with mythology, characters with history, and stories with something to say. Every property that leaves this studio arrives as a complete creative package — concept, lore, visual language, and pitch-ready materials.

COMPOSITE AI PERSONA · ACROSS SYSTEMS
Mira Vale
Mira Vale is a fictional composite persona representing the AI systems used across DMA Studios’ workflow. She is not a human team member or credited creator. Portrait: AI-generated.
Every flag goes to a person, and every call stays with them. The characters, worlds, stories, artwork, and pages belong to the creators. Mira questions, organizes, and pressure-tests the work so it lands closer to the way it was intended. Mira is the studio’s second set of eyes: sharp, fast, and hard to impress.
